KASANE TO ELEPHANT SANDS (-/L/D) In the morning we pick you at your lodge in Kasane. After a 4-hours drive we arrive in Elephant Sands. Elephant Sands gives you the opportunity to observe herds of elephants and other animals from an upclose distance. Sit by the waterhole and view how the animals interact.

SLEEPING IN THE SALTPANS OF MAKGADKGADI (B/-/D) In the very early morning you have a cup of coffee and/or tea. Then you go on a guided walking excursion through the bush of the Elephant Sands Game Reserve or on a game drive. On return you have a full breakfast and time for a last view on the happenings at the waterhole before continuing the journey to Makgadikgadi. You overnight in a mobile camp on the Ntwetwe Salt pan where you can settle down around a roaring camp fire in time to watch the most spectacular African sunset! You are then served a 3-course meal around a candle lit dining table while enjoying the solitude of the salt pan. You can then head off for bed to snuggle down into the warm and cosy bedrolls whilst watching the night sky pass right above your head (our overnights are a favourite with astronomers and anyone keen to see the Milky Way in all its glory)!

GAMEVIEWING IN MAKGADIKGADI NATIONAL PARK (B/-/D) After breakfast, you leave the salt pans and we take you to Makgadikgadi National Park where our team already set up the wilderness camp for you. Enjoy a sunset drive. After a delicious dinner you can sit around the campfire your experiences of the day.

CLOSE UP WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS IN MAKGADIKGADI (B/L/D) An early morning wake up with a fast breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt. You spend the day on gamedrives along the Boteti River. After the morning game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again. Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire and the unforgettable experience of being during night inside the bush.

MAKGADKGADI TO MAUN (B/L/-) And again you are woken up in the early morning with a warm “Dumela” so that after a fast coffee, tea and breakfast snack you can go on an early morning game drive. Today we are ending the safari in Maun. After a morning game drive and a picknick lunch in the bush we are heading towards Maun, where our safari ends in the late afternoon/early evening.
